Nothing beats curling up in a couch on a rainy day with a bag of chips on hand and getting immersed in a good book. Reading an e-book in my computer is generally tough, since I can't recline when reading it, or I get distracted by a lot of other things in my computer like watching my anime video collection, playing games or going online. Once, when I was reading an e-book on my PC, we had a power failure. In the end, I ended up in the living room flipping through the pages of one of my Stephen King books. :)

I personnally like to read from a book, i like to have the feeling of holding the book, plus you can take it anywhere and ready your story.

I prefer reading books in the old fashioned way. It´s much more comfortable and you can adopt the position you want whilst reading. Reading from the computer really strains your eyes.

i still like reading the old fashion books, hard copies or paperbacks, not that i have not tried reading e-books, i have a huge collection, but it really sucks and you really cannot enjoy reading for a long time, i sometimes print then out on my dotmatrix as its cheap and then read the e-books in old fashion format....but you really cannot replace the old fashion books, never i suppose

If the story is short, I wouldn't mind reading the book in an olf fashion way nor the e-book (online book).
But, if you mentioned book here as a novel; then I rather read it online. I don't particularly read novels. However, I do have one novel in which I read and own the hardcopy myself.
I hate reading long stories.

I'd much rather read a physical book. I find trying to concentrate on an e-books strains my eyes and gives me a headache (yet I can read discussions here for hours) And I do alot of my reading in the bathtub or curled up on the couch with the bf while he reads too and both are hard to do with a monitor :)

I'd much rather read in a real book. I've read ebooks before, but reading too long on a computer screen is bad for your eyes. You can actually read a lot faster on paper than you can on a screen anyways. I think there's some things computers can't replace and books are one of them.

I love new books. I like the looks of the cover, the picture in the cover, the smell of the cover. I like the paper and the smell of new printed paper. I tried to read from my computer, but, it's ended with fatigue in my eyes. Not healthy you know, reading too long from computer. I love New Books. I love reading in an old fashion books.

I would much rather read a real book. I can take it anywhere and be more comfortable. Sitting at the computer for as long as it would take to read a book would not be comfortable, and I think the monitor is harder on your eyes than when you're reading a book.

i love reading a book the traditional way. i even love buying them the traditional way, personally bought from my favorite bookstore. i especially like it when they are still wrapped in plastic and the anticipation of opening the first pages is just killing me :) i guess i also love the small of print :) but i do read ebooks everynow and then :)

I prefer to read books which I can bring along with me everywhere and anywhere when I want to. Reading online is quite straining for my eyes and gives me a headache, so I don't really like reading ebooks or articles which are too long.

I like reading an ordinary printed book, as compared to an e-book. Reading long books on computers is tiring. But something i am waiting for is E-ink and Electronic Paper. Electronic Paper displays text just like ordinary paper, but the page displayed can be changed. This can display ebooks. Check it out........ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_paper
