i know that you are feeling bad about how small your earnings are on your first few days. but don't lose hope. by the time you are already familiar with all the rules and procedures, you'll find it so easy to navigate around. you'll find the site so user friendly. just spend a little more time to take a tour in mylot especially the rules and faqs. it won't take long to read them.
don't try to calculate how much per discussion you'll make. mylot reserves the right to keep the payment computations secret so members here won't be abusing the system.
just spend some time here, enjoy the conversations and discussions. and soon, you might not notice that you're earning really great in here. just have fun and enjoy your time here! it's worth it!

Thank you for this post maryannemax.
I'm new here and actually stumbled across this site by accident so I wasn't drawn to it because of the earnings opportunity but rather for the discussions. I think this is a really neat site and I love how it's set up. I'm still finding my way around and trying to figure out how everything works but I have faith that in time I'll know all the little secrets :)
I'm still not sure what the red & blue stars are next to people's names and the number in the middle of the star. I'm also not familiar with all the ways to help others on this site (as in rating them or their pictures or whatever).
Anyhow, thanks again - I'm looking forward to being an active member of this site and telling all my friends about it. Hopefully they will join - under my name or on their own.

true. this site is really neat. no need for too much fancy colors and all. it's just set up to be good for the eyes.
welcome to mylot. as you see, when i was a newbie like you 5 months ago, i only earn like .20 cents a day or sometimes, i don't even log in here because i had been too much busy those days. but i am happy. it's just in december when i really got hooked in this site.

well, i think it's better to keep the calculations of earnings private. other sites who post how much each discussion earns make their members so greedy to earn points. thus, there are so many spammers on other sites. so, it's better this way.

You are right. Just have fun, here. On one side, on the other, there are many helpful topics here, too, what I like very much. What I like most: Very international and many people share their picture(s). All of you, have a good day :-)

hey u are absolutely right my dear fren .. whats more good than earnin for ur enjoyment.. firstly i joined it just to earn but slowly and gradually my mind is more on enjoyment and knowlege then money

You know, I was doing this on Yahoo for points. Any money I make is a nice benefit.
I am shooting for $10 a month, though I doubt I will make it, I figure with $10 I can buy an album on iTunes. And that little luxury would make me happy.
I tried asking a question and got only a few responses, I hope as the evening goes on more people will respond since I heard that good discussions and lots of answers make money.
I am trying to avoid flaming discussions, since all the money in the world is not worth the aggravation caused by people who only want to put the USA down or are racists.

and you are right. money just comes next to having fun about discussing matters here. it's our first reason why we are here. we want to air our views and let people know about our thoughts. we get paid as a bonus. and that's great.

I love my lot. Here in my lot I have learn to give some opinions, share my ideas and increase my knowledge by means of asking and asking. I have post questions that is very rare that a person may know. There were questions that seem so funny but can really twist your mind. My lot is a big helps to me to widen my way of thinking.
