if girls cry during break-ups do guys do it too?

i think yes...i cried after a break-up with my x-girl for 5years...girls seldom see guys cry during break-ups...its because tends to hide it as if to conceal weakness,the male pride for..."im ok dnt worry i can take it" kind of pride,guys do cry specialy so if the relationship is aready deep attatcment is already that of "ready to get married type" and most specialy if the guy cant seem to understand why the break-up despite of the fact that he has done nothing wrong...whats your opinion bout this girls and guys...SHALOM(peace)

I believe that men and women cry. There is way too much stress put upon men too hold back their feelings, as it isn't masculine. However, I differ with that thought. I personally like the sensitive side of the man, and also when he shows it. It is natural and fine for a man to cry. Shalom my brother.

I've dated my girlfriend for almost a year and a half. We broke up and I cried. I even talked to her parents about trying to have her take me back. I missed her so much. We got back together, but thats not the point. Guys definatly do cry when we get our heart broken. Were human too.

Yes, I've cried over breakups or even apparent-breakups. I don't know who came up with the notion that guys have to simply put up brave, strong-and-silent fronts and "suck it up" without showing emotions and even crying. Maybe it's to avoid looking silly or vulnerable, but I seriously believe that denying grief or suppressing it just because someone said it's "sissy" to cry is very unhealthy.

im in accord to your opinion sir...suppressing such feelings would only lead to violence due to the non acceptance of the fact of break-ups...i mean we guys dont have that much alternative of venting such feeling,unlike wemen .....this goes with the phrase"get real!"my thanks for your reply and im ranking you best response...can i invite you as friend if its ok with you?SHALOM(peace)

yeah mam...we do cry too..if the feeling of love is real,and the roots gone deep in ones heart,and if uprooted it causes so much pain that even a strong man cannot indure...its called true love!my thanks for your reply...peace

I totally agree with you on that. Guys cry too when somehing like that hpapens to them. Some do not show it because they thik that they would be called unmanly.

well in my opinion loneliness and depression is mans subtle way of crying...hhehehehe any way lucky for you you can easily move on...in my situation however what happened was so abrupt...i dnt know what hit me...so recovery was slow...i even posted a discussion in this site where i elaborated my situation 7 yrs after the break-up...my x is trying to return...but sad to say i already have somebody in my heart...not as beautifull as her (admittedly)but this girl stayed on me for 7years and loved me.paece to you bro...ill invite you as friend if its ok with you...SHALOM

some men do. i have seen a few men in my past that have cried when his girlfriend broke up with him. not all men do but im sre a good majority of them do, its not always the sensistive ones either.

yeah guys cry too..but they dont want to show it to the girls because of their ego and pride..they wanna cry but it can show that how weak they are thats why they aren't crying in front of girls
