Who actually screamed playing Silent Hill?

i hate this game.. it made me scream my heart out.. i never even finished the game because it's all.... scary.. a mistake to play this game..

This series is one of my all time favorites. The originality of all of it makes it something truly terrific (and yes, sometimes terrifying).
Though I don't think I've actually screamed during the Silent Hill games, they have been emotional experiences for me. I find myself very involved with the plot, and most times find myself sighing or tearing up because of it.
But I will definitely agree that there are amazing horror scenes and images in the game that no one should be ashamed of screaming for.

I agree completely. The first two games are extremely psychological, and it is that 'fear of the unknown' which actually makes you more afraid!

i do scream. but the game is great you really feel the intence i never regret played this game. even the movie of this i watched it. have you?

The movie was a must-see after following the games for so long, but I was a little disappointed. It seemed to me like they were trying to pack just too much from the games into the film, while giving it a fairly new plot.
I don't regret seeing it, but I think it could have been a little better.

i never actually screamed in any of them, although there are parts that really creep me out.
i almost screamed in silent hill 4 whn eileen and henry are in the subway and the movie begins where thy follow the hair to the ghost. that was scary.
i did scream once in fatal frame though
that's cuz the controller vibrates.

yeah that cynthia's ghost in sh4 is very creepy indeed I'm glad my place don't have a subway or else...I might have a disturbing images of cynthia's ghost if I have to go to the subway lol.
anyway this game never makes me scream but this game does caught me swearing though lol this happens when I'm observing the window in the room when a suddenly a floating head just appear out of nowhere.

Ahaha. Silent Hill is a great game. I've played all of the Silent Hill games. It is better than Resident Evil. It's like you undergo psychological torture everytime you play this game. I didn't actually screamed when I played this game, my sister did. :)

It IS one of the best horror games that I've played (next to Fatal Frame), but scary? no, I don't think so. Fatal Frame did scare me a little, but Silent Hill is just great, not really scary. okay, the special sound effects are quite scary I must say.

really?you never finished silent hill becaus it is too scary for you?eheh anyway it is a great game i finished it many times and even to see the differentsituations when you finish it...may be when you are playing in scenes where all is dark and you can use just the little lamp and something moving into the darkness can be scary
