josefflorian to beat, its not the hardest game, although some riddles take long to figure out. In concept, Silent Hill 2 is the most complicated game i played, and also one of the best :D

What do you think of the upcoming Origins and Silent Hill 5? From what you've seen, how do you think they'll fend in the light of the previous games? From what i've seen, i think they look great...a major leap from SH4.

josefflorian i've had the opportunity to play it on the pc a couple of months ago, and although the graphics look terrible, i still found it very scary and disturbing. This strengthens my belief that its not the graphics that make the game is it?

josefflorian I agree completely. The first two games are extremely psychological, and it is that 'fear of the unknown' which actually makes you more afraid!
