When did you first start using the internet?

I first started using internet in 1997. I still remembered those that day when i first went to the internet cafe along with my friend. On first day created my first free email ID from yahoo.com and you must believe that that was an out of the feeling i got when i did that, getting my first got my own email id. At that time, there was only dial-up internet service provided by the ISPs, hence we had to wait for each page to load for at least 1 to 2 minutes, i still cannot believe how i used to browse in those days when compared to now in this broadband and wi-fi era.

i can't remember the exact date but i guess it was 1998 when i was in 3rd year high school. all i do then is search something through yahoo and chat through mIRC. from then on everytime i have a project or homeworki just surf the net for information and answers.

I would have to say about 15 years ago give or take. I used the internet for chat with in the last 12 years.

i started using it when windows 95 was like the latest and the most advanded operating system. and playing dos games and all were seemed as a good game.

i first came across internet i the same year when one of my uncle use to send emails to big companies in US and use to charge them some good amount. when first saw a mail deliverd in 30 seconds i was suprised to know your text has been sent to US in just 30 secs wow amazing ........and now its totally free and business itself is on internet

first time i used internet is in 2002 i think. it wasn't so fun then because i used a dial up. i had to pay for every minute. since it was expensive i used it very less. but in 2003 i got my broadband with bandwidth limit i enjoyed it but tried to limit my usage. in 2005 i got an unlimited internet connection which was cheap but low speed. still i am using the same connection. i am using the internet about 5 to 10 hours daily.

Around 1993. I started using the internet.

when i was 12 year old , i started using internet . i know its too early . but my heavy mind coudnt control my joy of playing with internet . i guess i am having fun while surfing .

I started of very late compared to you guys .Think i started in 2000.In india internet got popularised at that time.

I started using internet in the year 2000, when i was in class 10. I used to chat on yahoo messenger.

i started 1999. i mainly use it for chatting, reseach, chatting and projects. Way back then internet access is very limited and expensive. I can only use the internet at our laboratory and i have to pay for it which was a huge cut on my allowance. But now everything has changed.

I started using email in 1992, and began surfing the net using Mosaic in 1994.

I started using the internet in 1996. Surprisingly I am still with the same ISP as well, they were great value to start and have remained so. I remember just how slow it was then as well, I only had a 33kps modem and remember when I upgraded to 56K how much better it would be, nothing compared to broadband.

I'm in 2000 if I not wrong. I'm devorce and after I lived alone internet was my new husband, but I can off and on.....very good.

I was using internet last 2004 because I would like to remember my subject in my college days even I had worked.I have attended computer courses for free but no internet subjects. So I had a hard time so I just went to internet cafe so I can email my friends and chat with them until now.
