the name Conan Edogawa based from mystery writers Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Ranpo Edogawa.
Arthur Conan Doyle (writer of Sherlock Holmes)
Ranpo Edogawa (a famous Japanese mystery novel writer)

The saw is actually called Case Closed, where he got turned into a little boy and he's trying to figure out how to become his normal self. I enjoyed watching it when Adult Swim had it.

My husband really loves that show, but they don't show it over here anymore, so he was really upset about it.
I seen it a few times and I like it, but they stopped showing it once I got interested in it, so that really stinks!

Yes I have heard of this cartoon and even downloaded some episodes since in Portugal they don't give too much attention to anime. It's a ok anime, not the type of anime I like the most but its funny and good to watch.

detective conan can make your heartbeat faster than the usual for its story is like a true story. you can feel the crime around you.

detective conan's stories are all true to life. it's just that the names are changed to keep the person's real identity. i read this in a dc website. can't remember it. if i found i'll just post it here. :)

I really love the anime.. But i thinks its not that popular nowadays.. I wish everybody appreciates the anime..
