What i do is write a journal of how i spend the money. You can budget you money. Make sure you put aside something for your savings. I seperate my money into diffirent bank accounts and only use one of my atms. When i get my pay cheque i instantly designate 30% of it for my savings. And control your urge in buying things that you don't really need.

I had the same issue untill recently. I have a savings account now which has someone else to sign on it as well. We both have to sign. The person I have cosign is very rich and is good with money. We agreed that the money is for a house or something like that. And that's what he'll let me have it for. I can however go and tell him to give it but I don't because I know what it's for. I would have to basically demand it to get it for any other reason. We set the rules at the start.

Also if you go out take a set amount with you and no credit card or deit card.
Also In the account I mention with my friend who co signs I place the first 10% of whatever money I earn into it and since then it has worked great for me.

Last week from my "Storehouse Account" I have transfered $5000.00 into a term deposit account. That in 10 months.

I save money and I do not ever use my money unless it is necessary to do so. So, try to use your money when you have to and save it if you don't have to buy anything that you need.

Keep a diary of everything you spend on and then assess it after a month. It will shock you as most wasteful spending goes on little things, not the big things.
Then make a decision to try not to buy some of the things you often do, and hey presto, you'll have spent less!

That's a pretty nice response. I honestly have not in my mind to think like what you think my friend. Making and keeping a diary of everything you spend on the then assess it after a month will give you an advatages in your part, as well as mine, to evaluate the things you spend your money. Thats a good response. What means my friend can you give to me in order for me to save my money more wiseLy?

Can't help you out friend. I spend till the last cent and go to ATM couter to get some cash. I also keep my purse open to all so anyone, mostly my family members, can spend money from it whenever they want to do so.

I see. Thats also a pretty nice response. What is your reason my friend of not putting all your money in your pocket? What are the advantages of doing that?

Spending money wisely...ha ha, that is something that we do not know how to do in this house. We just finished consolidating our debt onto our new visa so we will only have to make the one payment and already we were out looking for a new mattress for our bed. Now mind you we really could use a new one but its not like we are sleeping on the floor. We havent bought it yet. Maybe we will find the strength to wait.

Save my money in banks, yes multiple banks. Convert them to trust funds or get an insurance or two. Whenever I go out, I only bring enough money for the travelling fares and food in case I got hungry. Never bring alot of money mostly if you'll go shopping because that may tempt you to buy more and spend more.

I see. It means you are conserving your money and you do not use them in a nonsense way. That is a very good point my friend. By the way, why is it that you save your money in banks or multiple banks? What is your reason?

1. Always plan your shopping - and how much you wanna spend. For example if you wanna buy a pair of jeans, make sure you dont end up with a tshirt, socks and some accessories which you never plan to buy. If your upper limit is 30 dollars take only 35 dollars with you - that way you will never buy something for 50$
2. Write down whatever you spend in a book and at the end of the week/month audit it yourself and see where all you overspent.
3. Never use a credit card. with a problem like yours a credit card would end up disastrous.
4. Make someone keep tabs on your spending - your parents/ girlfriend/ spouse / close friend, so someone will let you know when you cross limits.
5. If you have a favorite shop where you overspend tell that shopkeeper to stop you!!
All the best

I have a pre-set budget drawn up to make sure all my bills are paid every month. I have a set amount that I am allowed to withdraw for casual spending, and once that's gone I don't get any more until the end of the week. If I run out of money, too bad.
I don't use my debit card any more, because it's too easy to spend all the cash in my bank account and then not have any left over for bills.
I also set a little aside every week, and when I have enough in the account I do someything nice for myself - a night on the town or buy myself something I want. It means I don't feel deprived, which will wreak any budget.

It means, you are avoiding any means that you will posibly spend your money right? Like what you've said you don't use your debit card anymore because it is too easy to spend all the cash in your bank account and then not have any left over for your bills. Thats a very good idea my friend. I, in my case usually bring my whole money in my pocket, later on i was found out that i was easily lack out of money due to spend in things that doesn't have any value. So what means do you have in your mind my friend in order for you to spend less money and save more money everyday? I will be waiting for your response my friend.
