I HAVE to bring baked corn to any family get together. I gave all my sisters and sister-in-law the recipe but they say that theirs doesn't turn out like mine. I think that maybe it just tastes better because someone else made it. :)

I do have that one special dish that I make . It is Lasagna. Everybody loves my lasagna. I get raving reviews from others that eat it, all the time. There is no question that mine is the best.

Mine is "Upside Down" that I learned from a friend from the Kingdom of Jordan. You cook rice, a whole chicken chopped into pieces with peeled and chunked eggplant into one pot with a 1 1/2 litres of water, cook on medium-low and cover it - do NOT stir until water is cooked away. DONT BURN! Let sit for 10 minutes off fire, covered. Then turn the pot "Upside down" onto a big platter. The contents should hold the pot's shape. Arrange lemon and orange slices and quartered pita bread around it and go to town!

Asalaam Alaikum i would have to say chili and rice it is good and takes very little time to make. I usually use ground turkey in which i brown and add 2 cans of chili with beans and put over brown rice and if you can hook up some cornbread it would hit the spot.
