yeah you are right, it is addictive, me everytime i come home i make sure to open my computer and set to surf and especially here, which is bad because i let my husband set alone sometimes after he picked me up from work we have to eat our dinner and after that need to set together and talk something like that but now,it seldom happens and he said maybe he doesnt look good now. crazy..

You'd better set aside some time for your hubby too. Why don't you introduce him to myLot or at least ask him to sit beside you when you are doing myLot. Perhaps you can get him interested so he would not feel left out and will understand why you are so keen on being online. Good luck!

Yes, it is quite addictive. But unlike you, my work is online so I spend most of my time in front of my computer. I live in the world wide web actually.

Yes the computer is a theif of time. I have a backlog of housework, craftwork and lots of other things I used to do before I had access to a computer. I've been trying to limit my time here on MyLot but people keep asking questions.

Yes I know how time seems to run fast when you are with myLot. Anyway, myLot gives us enjoyment and we also learn a lot of things and get to know people, make friends and exchange views.

You are right, we all spend too much time on the computer and on the net. I don't know why this is - perhaps because there is so much information out there and so many people to talk too, from all over the world. And I'm falling behind with the housework too!

This computer indeed takes up alot of time. I can however do many things at once and if, for example, I need to download something or wait a minute or so for a page to load, I can get some dishes started, pay a couple of bills, or sort clothing, folding etc. I do rely on the computer alot now and sometimes wish for the days before computing. Also work outside the home so I definitely must schedule computer time and balance it with the other things that must get done. Good luck my friend.

Good luck to you too and to everyone here. So long as our enjoyment in front of the computer does not interfere too much with our family obligations/chores, myLot will keep growing.

I guess I spend far too much time at my computer these days. I know I should be doing the hosuework, or the shopping, or all the other jobs around the house, but I always end up thinking *just a few more moments* and suddenly the time has gone.

It happens to me too. The few minutes become an hour or more and before you know it, it's past bedtime. Quite addictive!

Yes, I definately spend too much time in front of the PC screen. I´ve also neglected housework, I don´t read as much as I used to...
It´s definately addictive, but it´s a positive addiction in my opinion.

Yes to me it's a positive addiction too. We only need to organize our time and put reminders in front of the computer so that we don't neglect our loved ones and our household chores.
Thanks for your comment, friend.

Yes, I am on it too much. I am addicted, and it is driving my husband nuts. But, hey, this is so great, isn't it? My friends, as you are, have been a wonderful helping me, and are so enjoyable to communicate with. I learn things, and can offer things of my experiences. So my dear, I am hooked line and sinker on the computer.

Thank you, and you take care too, especially with your eyes and back if you spend a lot of time sitting down in front of the computer. Good posture is quite important. I have a slipped disc so I have become conscious of my back. I enjoy even just reading interesting discussions and comments and some are quite helpful to everyday life.

hi there...
oh i really think that whenever i got the chance to sneak out, i would definitely stay for hours! well most of the time, im spending it too much here at mylot, responding to a lot of discussions as much as possible....
there are times that i really have to force myself to get out and do what i have to do then! LOL..
when you have internet connections, it connects you to the world, and that's just the good side of it, other than that, it can make you lazy too because you stayed for like hours doing your thing here...
well i guess its just a matter of time management isn't it?
haha..
thanks a bunch^_^

I am a freelancer on the internet so basically I have to be in front of the computer almost the whole day... lol... even if I am not posting on myLot... and to me it doesn't have any connection with addiction or not. It's just the nature of my job. But posting on myLot is just a side activity that I do during my free time. And until now I still can manage my time doing housechores and my job as well. Furthermore I do my own cooking for my family. I prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, do the laundry and all the other housechores myself. Actually it is quite fun when I am always on the go. I don't like being idle and posting in myLot really keeps me occupied and alert and teaches me to divide my time most efficiently. Thanks and have a nice day.

Thanks too for your nice comment. I do manage to divide my time too and wish I had more free time for myLot, answering emails and surfing. Also my bad back coupled with my sciatica keeps me from sitting down too long. Have a nice day too!

I think it is really addictive, what's addictive is the endless information that we can get from looging in to the internet. Personally I like surfing websites, I seldom chat because I don't have a friend abroad.

You got that right, its very addicting. I spend most of my time online. My computer is also is my living room, so I am constantly near it. Even when I really have nothing to do on here, I am sitting here trying to find something interesting. Crazy isnt it?

In my case my computer is beside my bed and I get tempted to go online soon as I wake up and before going to bed. Gosh, what would we be doing if the computer was not invented!
Thanks for commenting, and have a good day with myLot.

I definitely spend too much time on pc. I always turn it on first thing in the morning but I also always get the vast majority of the housework done before I actually sit down in front of it. It is truly addictive!

It certainly can be addictive. One of the driving factors is that their is never enough time to do all the things I would like. I can think up far more things than I can find time to do. Guess we need to prioritize better and make the best use of our time that we are able.
I heard today that Bill Gates and his wife limit their kids to 45 minutes of computer time per day - that is total computer time. They get a little more on weekends.

I've been on the computer a lot in the last eight years because it's an integral part of my business. I never got involved with any discussion or chat sort of thing until Mylot. I have to admit that I have probably reached the saturation point and I probably will begin to cut down in the next couple weeks. Unless may be I can cut down on cooking or cleaning or shopping or something......I'm SO addicted!
