What do you do when you just can't sleep, but want to?

The worst thing is that you aren't able to sleep..whats is best think to get sleep?

to get the best thing to sleep relaxing the mind through some meditations daily and yoga that will help u in getting the good sleep without trouble.

yes well it does happen to me all the time. i hate it when i cannot sleep even if i really want to and i really have to. i never tried sleeping pills as my mom wont allow them and im afraid to take them because they might alter my bodily responses.. anyway i tried drinking warm milk and i found out that i was sleepy. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. also i can really sleep if i avoid sleeping during early hours and go on like being alive during morning and afternoons so that when the night comes id be too tired and i can now sleep without having difficulty.

I am having this dilemma right now. It is 5:07 am here, and I haven't been to sleep yet. I don't drink warm milk, so that is out. I have tried taking the advil and tylenol p.m. pills. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I will usually try reading until I am too tired to keep my eyes open. Another think that I try is prayer as I am laying there trying to fall asleep. Again, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I don't really know what the best thing is, but I hope someone on here can tell us both, lol.

i just bang my head on the wall and it knocks me straight out for 8 hrs. try it out sometime lol
