Does it depend on the person and also the background of there family? Im getting pretty worried these days about cancer and spending too much in the sun. To make matters worse, my grandfather had melinoma and had a chunk of his chest cut out as a result so it looks like im in line for something. Do any of you worry about this? For your children? And what about wanting that healthy looking tan...

hi, i worry about cancer etc when i use tanning rooms opr even go out in the hot sun because i burn quite easily if i don't use a skin moisturiser, but sometimes i need to tan because i don't look healthy all the time!

I would never tan. I want to really emphasize to all the ladies that think its important to tan: TANNING BEDS MAKE YOU UGLY. Trust me, its not attractive to us guys when you glow orange... Its unattractive in fact. And the damage you do to your skin isn't worth it either. It frustrates me that so many girls seem to bake themselves in the name of beauty, but a flourescent orange tan in the middle of winter is just embarassing. Since I'm in college, there are a lot of girls that do this, and really, its just not good..

I think you should limit the amount of tanning that you do. Since you have a history of cancer in your family. Too much of anything is very bad for you.
