Hopefully in 5 or 10 years my life will be better, although I'm not complaining about the life I have now. It would just be nice to think that as we go through life it just keeps getting better. That would be a very tough question to answer at a job interview. Hope the interview went well :)

I was asked this same question at a recent interview. I told the woman that I am going to be 50 years old this July. I would like to see myself employed with the same employer and that not only would 5 years be my goal, I would like to remain in the same job until I retire. If I find a job that meets my financial and career goals that is all I need.

In 5 years I see myself in college or university down in the states on a athletic or maybe even acedemic scholarship. I am into competative soccer right now and currently a highschool teen, and I beleieve I can acheive good enough marks to be eligible for an academic scholarship opportunity.

It is fact that future is highly unpredictible. i too faced the same question in almost all interviews i attended. they will ask this question to judge how a person can move in the organisation. i always said them in a positive manner that i would like to lead people or i would be a part of good decision makers in the organisation.
