which is the most cost-effective? I usually shave my legs, but I can't stand the cuts and razor bumps I sometimes get. The Veet cream works, but hair comes back after one day and it's pretty expensive since you only use the tube about twice before it's empty. What do you use and why?

i am a beautician and i can give you an honest opinion . shaving strengthens the hair and it comes back blunt and thick. also you are not getting to the root.veet cream does much the same job.it doesnt penatrate to the root. waxing weakens the hair root and takes much longer for the hair to grow back . you must keep it up though and you will find after the third time the hair growth is sparser. it is very effeective and the best way to dehair unless you want to try laser. waxing is relatively inexpensive here and it is worth it.

I think shaving is the most cost-effective. I use to have the cuts and razor bumps also, but then I started using the Mach 3 razor and find I don't cut myself at all anymore. As for the bumps, I don't know that there is a lot we can do about this, I always just try to moisturize really well when I am finished. I have tried the Veet as well, but I find it quite expensive also so the majority of time I stick to shaving.
