Indian Muslims support pakistani cricket team

Hi samson 1967, I see so many people naively commenting against muslims. Religion and nativity binds people together tighter than any other thing in the world. Even if it is true that indian muslims support pakistan in cricket, there's nothing wrong in it. See, the same survey with Indian UK citizens revealed that they support only india when our team play against England. Even our irfan pathan gets bowling tips from wasim akram. Cricket is just a game. Too much should not be read into it. Do you know that pakistanis love to see shah ruk khan and madhuri dixit above their countries entertainment idols? Does it mean that pakistan people are not patriotic to their country? Understand that patriotism is not just waving your country's flag or supporting your country people in sports or entertainment. In fact it is the norm for sports and entertainment to transcend borders, entertaining everyone in the process, irrespectvie of counrty, religion, cast or creed. Isn't it true that muslims have contributed so much to Indian society since independence? Even our president is a muslim. Can you suspect his patriotism even if he prefer's pakistan in cricket? Aren't you happy that pakistan has just thrashed SA in the recent test match?

i think yes, indian muslims support pakistani cricket team, its ok but when india play against pakistan they should support india and not pakistan

I am an Indian, not a Muslim.I dont believe that all Muslims in India support Pakisthan when the two teams engage themselves in a match. The Indian people are overenthusiastic about cricket. They do not pay any attention to the performance of India in the world cup hockey. Please see that hockey is the national game of India. This over enthusiasm towards cricket is spoiling other games in this country. Anyway this is not our topic of discussion. Please do not generalise that all Indian Muslims are supporters of Pakistan. It is a false notion. Indian Muslims are Indians. Do not push them out of the main stream. If you really love India, please keep away from creating religious rifts. Please do not try to spoil whatever religious harmony remains in this country.

Hello Samsom! I have many muslim friends who support Indian players. So what you are saying is not totally true. But yes, there are such muslims in India who support Pakistani players. But its not always true.

If you like sharukh khan saif ali khan arshad warsi or other muslim actors, it means you have muslim blood ? please answer.
