Looking around ... as is normal for me these days ... on www.cnn.com to see if there is any good news today, I found an article about MySpace saying they will notify people about missing kids in their areas.
They are also going to now require a working email address to be verified in order for a new account to be opened.
They are also claiming to have a new tool that will prevent any member who is under 18 from being contacted by adults, and vice vera.
And ... they claim to be developing a program to allow parents to be notified about their childs profile information ...
Any one have any comments on this?I am a parent, but do not use MySpace ... nor do my children. In fact my children (oldest is 8) do not access the internet at all alone yet.
I am interested in seeing what other people think, particuarlly parents, about these changes.
