I really don't think Radiohead is over-rated. Actually I think they are amazing. Yes, I do prefer some of the older albums compared to Hail to the Thief, but they are still amazing and very talented. I don't think many other bands or musicians display a collective intelligence as do the members of Radiohead. I think they have deserved their cult-like status, and I hope they never lose it. I also hope they don't become extremely mainstream, like U2, because I think it would lose some of their credibility or fan base.
(don't get me wrong, radiohead is very popular and extremely well known, but I do not thing they are as mainstream as other rock/indie bands.)

although there are a few good songs, I never really saw the atraction myself, each to their own I guess. Creep was a great song but everyone likes that one.

They are totally overrated and nowhere as near as talented as their blinded fans claim them to be.

I don't think that Radiohead are over-rated. They are a brilliant band, and kind of became a voice of a generation. While we were all sat around feeling depressed and apathetic, they were singing about it. They were the ones who spoke for the rest of us.

I only like a couple of their songs I've heard but I don't see why people have to obsess over them. I've heard how Coldplay's been called "The poor man's Radiohead" and quite honestly, Coldplay blows them away.

I like Radiohead from their very first album until OK computer. They seem to get weird and very experimental. Anyways, i know that they're just playing their music and if anybody is obssessing over them, it's not their problem.
