Have you ever heard rap in a language other than English?

As a poet myself, and someone who likes many different types of music, I personally have always thought rap is an awesome artform. I love to listen to the way they put the words together and make them come out just so. Since I live in Quebec, Canada, I also hear French rap. Not that I am biased, but I just find it amusing. It never comes out quite the same or has the same effect for me. Have you heard it in any other languages?

The answer is YES, but it can not be compared to that in English. I hv listen it in hindi. A singer called baba Sehgal is a rap singer in Hindi. Stiil it is pleasant to ears. Hope the quality of rap songs in Hindi will improve.

I think it's a matter of what language you know. I'm sure it would be really cool in Hindi even though I don't know it.

Yes. In portuguese, french and spannish. Try to listen something of portuguese rap, is very good. Try to find something about: Valete, Twism, Chullage, Sam The Kid, Dealema, for an example.

Yes, of course. I have listened to Portuguese (my nacional language) and French rap and I like both, I think people is just more used to listen to english music, it's not like they don't like foreign songs from the same genres, at least it's like that with me.
