I had two jobs in a span of three years. I think that's fairly good. And I think changing jobs often isnt at all that bad to some extent. Like what kuyafish said, it's not good to look at on your resume when you hop from one job to another especially if the gap are all a few months from one another. What makes you resign from your old job anyway? Are you having problems with salary or the company management? Find something you like for a job. Dont just look for one because it is open for vacancy. Choose something within your profession. Something you desire or that are within your likes. A job that would not merely offer you a space in the work force but also something that will make u feel useful and worthwhile. When you make a job search, consider those. because the more you are happy with the job you choose, the less likely you want to look for a way to resign. :)

No that is not abnormal. It may take you awhile to find the one job you like. I have quit do many jobs I stopped counting. After I work for a few years I get bored and go on to something more exciting. This has always been frowned on as a job hopper, but it has allowed me to be able to do most anything. So now I don't have to be choosey with the job that are available. I will always have something to fall back on if something else doesn't work out.

I do not think that is bad if you are not having a good time with what you do. If you do not like your job, that could be really unhealthy for you. Because you can get stress and then maybe depression. So far all the jobs I got I liked and only quit twice.

Maybe you would do better to find a job that you like to do ,don't look at the pay at first ...it can increase...good luck
Five times is quite a bit, but if you are unhappy don't stay ...

I graduated year 2005 too and I'm currently a freelancer. I've had two employments and I quit them both because of financial reasons. I'm from the Philippines and it's really difficult to get a job you like. I'm torn between a high salary but a job I don't like much versus minimum wage but a job that I really like.

I think that's normal. I had my first job for a week, my second job for 7 hours, my third job for 1 day...many experience that and its pretty normal.
Just keep on looking and you will eventually find what you enjoy doing!
