What movie did you like Tom Hanks in the best?

I love tom hanks too! just the other day, i responded to a discussion asking who my favorite actor was and i said tom hanks. from castaway to TOY STORY! I LOVE his movies..of course i grew up with "BIG" and "Money Pit".

One movie? That's all I can pick? But I loved him in so many. Splash for one, he was great in that. Then there is the Green Mile and of course The Da Vinci Code. Lets not forget Catch Me If You Can or The Money Pit. I can't pick just one. He's too good of an actor.

the very best for me is The Terminal. man he's awesome on that movie. i cant imagine before that he cant act, speak, feel-like-it like that ever. well i know he's good but he's really great in this movie. watch it. also like You've got mail, i have a tape of it. Tom Hanks is one of those worthy actor to watch to on his movies.

I like the movie called forest gump, i think that the said moivie is one of the best movies tom hanks has done. It seesm that you really are a big fan of tom hanks huh. greetings. : )

I thought he was very endearing in Big, playing a kid, definitely one of my favorites. That would probably be at the top of my list, or maybe the first movie I ever saw him in--Splash, with Daryl Hannah very funny as a modern-day mermaid in NYC. Very cute and funny.

I love his movie "You've Got Mail!" it's a romantic-comedy. I haven't watched his recent movies but I think this one's the best, at least for me. Tom Hanks has made good movies and he's made his way to the top.

Tom Hanks gets the thumbs up in my book too. I much prefer him above Tom, Harrison, and Nicholas. I can't think of one movie that he did that wasn't fantastic. My favorite Hanks movie was "Terminal Man". It was so touching. It really grabbed at my heart.

i liked cas away and forest gump.....i think hes a better n talented actor of hollywood.........beter than tom cruises!

I remember watching Castaway for the first time and he was absolutely brilliant. To be able to keep me interested throughout with just himself in the majority of the film was brillint. The ending was so emotional. Also, Forest Gump. I avoided watching this for ages because I thought it would be a sickly American film. However, when I saw it he was excellent and carried the part off so well. Another sad yet thought provoking film. And finally The Burbs. I love this film. He is really funny in it and it doesn't matter how many times I see it I love the scene where he comes out of the burning house and his feet slip down the stairs. I always wait for that bit. What I respect about him most is that he is never posing on the television, like alot of the two bit celebs, but keeps his private life private. A true professional.

Well! TOM HANKS is also my fav actor.i didn,t watch his movie named BIG but i,ill now watch it bcuz many of my freinds also told me about dat movie dat it was awsome.my fav movie of TOM HANKS is GREEN MILE...

Tom Hanks has had so many good movies. If I had to choose just one as the best, I would choose "You Got Mail."

Assalamu Alikum sister. I think Tom Hanks did his best role in "Forrest Gump". Well, I would say this is my favorite movie of all times. I will never forget this movie as it has a very important lesson, and it is that it doeasn't matter what others tell you, you are no different, you are a human being like everybody else. I know many lines from "Forrest Gump" too. Like when Bubba said: "Forrest..I wanna go home." Or also , when Gump's mom says: "Life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're gonna get." Actually, we rented "The Da Vinci's Code" with him taking part as the main role. I got it here. But I have to watch it again because I missed some parts, it seems pretty complicated.

Forrest Gump! I like that movie, Its like the whole reality of life is rolled up into one on this film. And at the same time the way the story flows, and how Tom Hanks portrayed the lead role, his acting is so natural.

I like all of Tom Hanks' movies but the one that sticks out in my mind the most is 'Terminal'. Until Terminal came out I liked 'Big' the best. Have you seen Terminal? It is a very good movie too.
