I hate it too, and the odor sticks on anything around. My ex smoked in the house and I always emphasized that he is harming us, the passive smokers, more than himself. And the ash trays, I threw them away because he does not bother to clean up. It's good that in offices the smokers are asked to go out if they wish to smoke. However in some restaurants some people are so inconsiderate and do not observe the no smoking signs.

Yeah,I have the same sentiments. If they want to smoke, they jolly well go somewhere else. Over here in my country, some people even light up in the lift despite the no smoking sign inside there!

I really hate smokers. Actually my workspace here people smokes. I have been coughing and it keep repeating in one year. I think the most risk one is second hand smoker. We are getting cancer faster and not them (in long term i suppose they will). I hope they will smoke in smoking area. I believe powerful laws should be forced to make sure they smoke in certain area provided and not in public area which have many moms and kids around them.

I'm sorry but I'm a smoker. If its my house, yes I have the right to smoke. If its someone elses house I go outside. As for at work, most places have a smokers room. I don't allow smoking in my hair salon. Kind of funny since I'm a smokers.
We have rights just like anyone else.

Where I live, you can't smoke in any indoor publice place which is a good thing. It is so unhealthy to inhale 2nd hand smoke. It can kill you when you're not even smoking which is unfair. I don't like being near people who do smoke, I just can't handle smelling the smoke in doors or outdoors.. it makes me feel choked up.
