not really. but if its done intentionally that's a different story. if there are people who do this in mylot, i think there are only a few of them. hope they will stop doing this.

Hey Good2BMe
I actually put up a post shortly after I started here stating what I thought of the poor spelling and quickly realized that most here have english as a second language and I was embarrassed by the fact that at least they try.
I have one language, English, and I have a hard time getting some words correct, so from now on I am careful to open my mouth about the spelling here. If I can read it I am now fine with it.

Call me old, I just can't see writing on here if your going to use a bunch of slang. I am not completly in the dark, I get most of it, but it really slows me down. I would rather read plain english than a bunch of shortened or misspelled words. I read slow anyways!lol

Well you will prabally get sick of me....lol....I have horrible spelling at least mine is not on purpose. I do agree though some of it is probally people who do not speak english as a first language and that is understandable. I have heard English is a diffucult language to learn. Also alot of misspelled words are the way of computer lingo. Like Cool alot of people on the net spell it Kewl!?!?!?! I know I spell alor of words wrong when I am typing fast in a hurry and also when I am typing one handed. Which I do off and on do to the fact that I hold a child somtimes while I am on the computer like my 3 year old or my 8 month old nephew.
Now what really gets me going is when people say My bad that bugs the heck out of me.....LOL........

No. They do not bother me at all. I make spelling and grammar mistakes. I am more interested in what the person has to say, rather than how they are spelling. We have people from different countries here and different education levels. Everyone's opinion is worth something here, in my opinion.
By the way...If other people's errors bother you, you should check your own discussions before you send them out. You have at least one spelling mistake and a few grammar mistakes.
Happy MyLotting!

I went back up and read some of the responses and some of your replies to them. I'll tell you what...
I'll forgive your OCD if you forgive my ADD ;-).
That's what prevents me from proofreading. I don't have the patience or attention span to go back and reread what I've just typed! lol

If they purposely type incorrectly than it is wrong and they should stop doing it but if it is accidental that is alright. I know that we have people from various countries here so I am very understanding of them since they may not be familiar with all the English vocabulary and spellings. People should slow down and make sure that the words and phrases are spelled correctly. Sometimes I make spelling mistakes but it is not done purposely and wish they had an editing button to correct errors.
