I have had 2, one time I was downloading from KaZaa(I know, it's full of viruses itself) and when I scanned, I had 2325 viruses.
Another time, someone gave me a computer, so I install the internet, suddenly a ton of dos windows pop up.
Whenever I opened Internet Explorer, I tried to go to download Avast! antivirus, but the window instantly closed.
I had to wipe the whole computer.

I have a seriously virus enganged on my pc. my protections are running at that time avast/spybot&searchndestroy/avg. I forgot the virus name but its a trojan I think.. My system keeps on restarting. I have nothing to do with it to reformat my system. too bad for me cause I cant back up my system cause my pc keeps restarting.
up to that moment I keep my pc always backed up.. and I change my pc protections.. KASPERSKY AND NOD32 anti-virus are currently installed and its a so far so good on my system.

I have around 6 times, it is good that you are attacked by virus for a number of times, because this xpereicen forcefully indulges u in seeking how to fix and come out of this bad situation, I use norton corporate version, the most bad xperience for me was the chrnoball attack, however I managed to recover most of my data

I had plenty of spyware attacks, but only one from a somewhat benign, yet troublesome virus. It was one called system.exe, that came with several others. The virus interrupts the boot up
process of my computer, so it keeps restarting.
I thought of reinstalling my OS, but that didn't work, so I was tempted to reformat the whole system. But fortunately, I was able to preempt the from initializing via the ctrl + alt + delete command. That enabled me to access windows and remove the virus from there.
