I did used bitdeffender. It make my machine slow and not really can kill the virus. So I change to NOD32. My machine is getting better, faster. What about you?

Well that is good to hear from you! At this point of time, I am using avira antivir personal classic edition. I have been using this for over a longer period of time. Since using it, I have never experienced any problems at all with regards to the overall function and system performance of my machine. Otherwise, I am so impressed and satisfied with its performance. It updates automatically on a regular basis and can be scheduled any time you want. It is very light on resources and does not use a lot of memory. Hence, does not slow down your machine. Have a great day!

The best solution to protect your computer is Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0.1.411 (Final) It's not just an antivirus, it has anti-spyware, anti-hacker and firewall too

Deciding about best antivirus is a tough job. But i have done some searches on net to come to following results. Worst antivirus are Norton and McAfee. Avg is ok. Among good antivirus are nod32 and kaspersky antivirus. If you have any memory probs like ram less than 256 mb, go for nod32. If there are no ram probs, go for kaspersky. Detection rates of both are good. Both have hourly updates.

I used to use norton antivirus but it started giving problem so i had to stop using it.best antivirus i used ever is AVG-Antivirus. its more secure to use AVG although i also used Norton and Mcafee and many more. but now i am satisfied with the AVG antivirus. its absolutely free for home users and the updates are quite easily updated without so much of time. and it gives the high performance for my computer. Many a times when i am sharing something in my LAN, AVG immediately detects which type of virus is this and completey wipe out the viruses. So i would like to prefer AVG antivirus and also suggest you to use avg instead of any other antivirus.
