I wonder sometimes why I live here? Then comes to mind all the great memories growing up. School days turnin into highschool days and highschool days turnin into Awesome days. I think, its not about the place, its more about the people I grew up with. Any given country would have been just about perfect if I grew up arround the same people.
Getting to the point, The parlimentary buildings are on a hill, You go down the hill and there is a river, JUst by the river there is one lonesome bench. If you sit on that bench you can look at half of the Hull (neighbouring city), And You sometimes can see the Sun Set behind the Ottawa-Hull bridge. I have always gone there. I use to go alone, but now I go with my gf and we take coffee with us. That is my favourite place in this small, modern, urban but highly populated city. cheers

Hmmm...What do I like about the place I am at now?
Well, it is small. The hustle and bustle of Orlando was just way to fast. But here, things are a bit slower and more enjoyable to take in.
I like the fact that it snows here...even though we have not gotten as much snow as I would like. It is a heck of a lot more than what I got growing up in Florida...and that would be none.
I like the school system here. Florida was too fast and too much was based on the FCAT. So, they only taught the tests and writing skills for the tests. Here, I feel my children are learning more and at a good pace.
The four seasons I get here. I am used to two seasons...HOT and Nice. LOL Here, I get to experience all the seasons. Its nice! :)

I like that it snows here, but I loved the heat and nice weather!! It was great to not have to bundle up and stay warm by the fire. But, I think also at the same time that it is fun to go outside in the snow and get cold...just to come back inside and sit by the fire!! I guess I am just an odd ball!! :D

What I love about my town is that I'm only a five minute walk from the shops. I'm a 10 minute walk from the city centre and the schools. And yet, I can look out my back window and see nothing but fields. Bliss! (So long as I have nice neighbours. Still waiting to see who moves in next door to me)

Well, the favorite think about where I live today would be that it is small and not that busy. In the big city like, Orlando, there was a lot of bustle around!
So, the favorite thing would be that it is a lot slower pace. Oh, and we get snow! Or, ice. But, that is still fine!! :)

When I think about Chicago, I like so many places and it is so hard to name just one.
Navy Pier with many boats. During the summer is so beautyfull with all small boats on lake Michigan. Chicago is huge with many great parks and nice Lakefront.

I like the fact that no matter which direction you go in, there is something to do. Maybe not all hours of the night - but there's always something to do.
