Back to School Monday.

My daughter went back to school on January 8th. She had been out of school since December 22nd. I live in AZ in the USA. This is just a continuation of the same school year and grade for her. I am always happy when she goes back to school and so is she. We love each other dearly but it is hard to spedn every day together especially because I still have to do my work and everything. It is hard to get her to understand that even though she is on a break doesn't mean that I am too.

My children start schhol again on Feb 14th. It is a Thursday... I think it has to do with adding all the public holidays onto their school holidays. Anyway my youngest is in Prep this year which is like grade one in Queensland and that means they are all at school for five days a week....a bit sad, a bit glad really....

Hi there Ridgydidge......this is an exciting time for most parents, I think. Woo Hoo, the kids are going back to school! Here in Victoria at my daughter's school, they are going back on Wednesday. Why the Wednesday?....I don't know. She is very excited about going back as she will be in a composite grade this year. She's in grade 1 but in a class with grade 2's. She's looking forward to it. I wish all the parents out there a happy 'return-to-school' day. :)
