I prefer reading too, its very nice to take the book on your hands and you feel great when you finish reading it.

Usually I prefer the book simply because you get more information about the characters and the places in the story. I prefer the Harry Potters books though I do like the movies very much. There's just so much more information in the books.
But on the other hand, I prefer the Jurassic Park movies to the books. The movie is a lot different than the books and I just like the movies better. There was another movie, Congo, that I preferred over the book. The book was almost a completely different story and I liked the movie version the best.
So I have to say that sometimes I prefer the movie and sometimes I prefer the book. It just depends on who is doing the movie version.

I prefer to read the book. It seems that most times a lot goes on in the book that doesn't go into the movie.
Sometimes, I'll see the movie first and enjoy it but I don't even bother to go see a movie if I've all ready read the book.

Personally, I prefer the book to the movie in almost every instance. However, it is not a good idea to read the book before you watch the movie if you can help it because the movie is usually nowhere near as good, and leaves much of the story out. Happy reading, or watching, whatever you prefer!

I really prefer the movie because I can understand or remember all the story.
