I think it is ridiculous! You are paying them and they turn around and sell you out. I think phone companies are doing this as well.
Any way I am answering this from my email, so if this has already been posted then just over look it.
There is a national registry for the US that you can enter your phone and cell phone numbers on and they will be put on a do not call list. Annoying sale calls, can not call you any more. Here is the link...

May I ask where you heard this? I heard about this a while ago but it was in an email and it turned out to be a urban legend.
Do you have a news report link? I would love to read what companies they are reporting this to be happening with.

Hemm I missed that on the news. That definetly sucks. I have had a couple of calls on mine lately selling loans and mortgages ... I have no idea if there is anything to do about your cell phone but with your home phone you certainly can. They have a 1-800 number to call to take you off the calling list and you can do that online as well. Not sure what the url is that sorry... try that to see.. :)

That is fine with me as if I dont know the number I dont answer so that wont bother me except a little as I will have to look at the number calling me. Plus a name shows up for every # I know so they are in my address book and will pop up with a name

Well, I do not really like that. Whatever happened to privacy? I just can't believe they'll do that. I'll just start to ignore all the numbers that I do not know.
