well i am from INDIA, there was a news on television few days back that a new born baby who was just born was left on the street by her mother to let him die, co incidently a stray dog saw that child who was dying alone and the dog felt pitty on him and he took the baby with him and tried to reach the hospital as soon as possible. the hospital crew was amazed to see the kindness of that stray dog and tried to save the child but it was to late by that time. the hospital crew felt very bad that a stray dog tried to save the life of the child and they were helpless. how could such a mother can leave a child to die on the street. are we humans loosing our humanity and can do such kind of act. in my opinion dogs are much more HUMAN then we people

I think that you're on to something. When have you ever met a PERSON who sleeps outside, plays in dirt, and eats the same generic food every single day then when his father/master type person comes home, is just the happiest thing in the world? I personally think that God gaves us dogs as a reflection tool, aside from being the perfect companion. You look at a dog and it symbolizes every good quality a person could have. Loyalty, courage, sense of childlike wonder about everything. Dogs don't really get old now do they? I mean sure they literally get older, but they keep on waggin' and lovin' like they did when they were puppies.

Wow, what a very nice dog. I do agree with you on that. Dogs are more human than people themselves. I guess the mother couldn't take care of the baby by herself or her family were going to disown her if they find that out. So, I guess she did what she thought was the only solution. I think she should've taken the baby to the hospital and let them take care of him/her than doing that to the poor baby.
