Other than Tiger Woods, who is your favorite golfer and why? There is so much talent out there today...

Well there is no doubting the fact that tiger is one of the best golfers of all time, but for me being the best at what you do shouldn,t necessarly mean that your gonna be a favorite with everyone,For me tiger just takes himself far too seriously! Being irish i,m being very biased when i say that my favourite is Padraig Harrington, he,s always smiling , always upbeat. He,s got a terrific short game and when he,s been in a few head to heads with tiger he,s beaten him!

There is a nice little quip about him and a family member of his winning a large poker tournament... I can't remember it right now but when I find it I will post.

I could. In a way I would actually love it. I can't stand watching a round of golf on a Sunday when Tiger is on the 5th page of the leaderboard and then they show Tiger hit his tee shot on the 6th hole that means absolutely. For goodness sakes just show Tiger when he finishes his round. You never see the underdog leader because it's all about Tiger Tiger Tiger. I like Phil though.

Old school... I like it. Someone playing today though. And if you are going to name Jack, Chi Chi, Lee, and Arnie, don't leave out Nelson and Snead from that list.

I watch a lot of golf, and really enjoy watching Phil Mickelson. He makes crucial decisions that are somewhat risky. They could cost him, but he has enough confidence to pull off the shot. He is really smooth...even for a lefty. I love his style of play, but of course tiger continues to 1 up him all the time

I don't think it is so much Tiger 1-upping Mikelson so much as it is Phil getting himself in trouble with decisions that are not sound. The ironic part of all that is he has an article in "Golf Digest" on how to get out of trouble (over/under). He should heed some of his own advise.

Tiger woods is a legend in golf. He is like Jordan in basketball or Pélé in soccer. If there were no Tiger woods, I would choose Fred Couples as my favorite.

Another great golfer who would have been even better if not for nagging back problems.

I like the upcoming Australian golfer Aaron Baddeley. I felt so bad for him yesterday 6-17-07 at the opens when he blew the first whole and it just went down hill from there. I too can't imagine golf without Tiger :( My husband's favorite is John Daly. He loves the way the man can drive a golf ball with such power. I have to admit the guy can hit. But Tiger is and always will be my favorite golfer. THanks for the question.

Lefty has shown that indeed you can play golf at an elite level playing the 'wrong' way. Bob Charles was another that did it 20 years ago.

K J Choi. He has a very simple swing, no complications and more importantly a very good demeanor.

Vijay just seems like he can't get his game quite to the level of Phil, Tiger, Ernie, etc....

Vijay is a pretty cool person. I live 15 minutes away from the TPC at Sawgrass which hosts "The Players" with the famous 17th green. I went to a practice round a couple of years ago and I had a conversation with Vijay. He had a great sense of humor and he really didn't mind me asking for an autograph also.
