What other use your Breastmilk has...

I don't know if anyone else knows this or not.. but, when my little girl was like 6 weeks old--one of her eyes were really red & my sister told me to squirt some breastmilk in it and it would heal it. I was hesitant at first but finally did it every time I nursed her and by the end of the day it was gone! I have found that breastmilk works for lots of things on babies and wanted to share incase you didn't know.

My son had a goopy eye when he was born.. I put milk on it and it was gone that day, too. I wonder if my hubby would let me squirt milk on an infection of his?*laughs* He gets pretty weirded out if I squirt him or drip on him.

I had no clue. I only use it to feed my daughter. I wonder what else it can do for her.

It can also be used instead of saline to help with a clogged nose. Just spray in their nose like you would saline.
