Do you know anyone who has committed suicide?

In June of last year my mom committed suicide. There are VERY few people that know that suicide is the COD. Part of me is very ashamed to admit it. Is there anyone else who has had to cope with this? How did you do it?

Brookesmom I haven't seen anyone professionally. My fiance knows, but it's even hard to talk to him about it sometimes. Maybe that's something I'll have to consider. Thank you.

Brookesmom Thank you. I think that's the biggest thing for me is feeling like she did do it to hurt me. I just have a hard time understanding how a person could do that to her children. But it's still fairly recent. I know i will come to grips with it, it's just hard...

Brookesmom I'm not married yet, but i don't take my engagement ring off ever. When I do get married, both my engagement and my wedding ring will never leave my finger. I would be devastated if I lost my rings!!

Brookesmom I don't think wedding/engagement rings have to be anything in particular. I think they should be what the couple likes. There should be no limitations on them in my opinion.

Brookesmom I had an emergency c-section, so I don't know what the pain of labor is like. I will be having my next one naturally though. Good luck! Let us know how it goes!!

Brookesmom The happiest moment of my life was taking my 6.5 week old daughter home. She was born 2 months premature and spent the first 6.5 weeks of her life in the NICU. The day I took her home I was the happiest woman in the world!

Brookesmom I don't think I could ever be a high school teacher. I have a lot of respect for those that have chosen to be! Being a high school teacher is probably a very hard job! They recieve very little respect and have to deal with a lot of people that just dont care.

Brookesmom I LOVE rings!! I have so many of them. My favorite is my engagement ring I just got a week and a half ago!! It is white gold with 9 diamonds in it! I have all sort of rings, all white gold, I don't like yellow gold.
