After spending 5 weeks at mylot, I feel I have learned a great deal of new things. This is because different members all over this planet have contributed many topics that are valuable in knowledge.
The best way to create a new topic is to actually organise your potential topics offline. It is good if you can think or topics that would be thought provoking and attracts others to want to learn something new. There are also topics whereby others wants to contribute their experiences or knowledge by responding.
Everyday, when we move around our home, office or city, there will be many issues that capture our eyes or heart. Write on those.

You're right! There's so much to read here, let alone write about! Thank you for your response!

I am just starting to get in the habit of starting discussions. I like to read the news and start discussions based on any story that peaks my interest. I have also noticed that I am making note thorughout the day when I ask a question to someone or wonder about something.
I try to post discussions that I am really interested in hearing what other people think. I don't want to start discussions just for the sake of starting discussions. It will take me a little while to get into the swing of starting discussions but I do plan to get to the point where I ma starting at least 5 a day.

Yeah, I haven't started very many either. I'm new also and just getting used to things. I try to post quite a few responses each day though and seem to be doing all right as of now! Thank you for your response, too!

It depends on the topic. If I have the know how of the topic then I can write anything on it but if I am nill knowledged in that topic then I can write nothing about. Nothing makes me write except knowldge.

I try to write on things/topics that I am somewhat knowledgeable about. I don't want to just write a bunch of dribble... it doesn't help anyone that way. I also have found that I am asking questions that I really am interested in knowing about. I like to get other peoples opinions on things, and this is a perfect place to do so. So it just depends.

I usually right the first things that come to my mind. I know those are somewhat affected by what i read in here too. Or with what i've seen in the tv.

That's cool. I was just wondering because I've seen some really off the wall conversations in here. Thank you for your response, though!
