Being a Saint in 2007 ?

This is something I have been exploring for several years now. What would/could be the qualities of a saint nowadays ? What would they be like ? What would they do ? I feel more of us have saintly qualities than we realize. Something I feel is they could be very normal in appearance. Doing farely normal things, so as to blend in with society. So they dont seem so different. Yet freely express godly qualities of perfect love peace and joy. At least as well as they can, at there level of enlightment. As we grow on our paths of spiritual enlightment, I find it is more of what we do, rather than what we dont do. That with continuing our spiritual practices, and practiceing our meditation that other human disires change and slip away over time. I feel all of us are allways doing our best. It helps to remember that we are doing our best. Sometimess it takes sitting quietly for awhile to see and experince how we were doing our best. I know how hard I am on myself at times, then I feel gods Love shining through me and I am flooded with his Loving joyful presence. Feeling his compassionate answers to my concerns. So, I feel a saint noadays would help others know the Love of god the best they could. Have you pondered on this resently ?
