you can see a beggar everywhere, holding out their hand, trying to ask for money. and oftentimes, i see people giving out their money. do you think giving them money is justified?
as for me, i don't think so. i think that it'll only make them more lazy, and more dependent to those people who are kind enough to give them money to buy for food. they even have tricks to make people pitty them more and give them some more money. they even bring their babies with them, or their loved ones who are handicapped or sick. what do you think of this?

hi fake_you welcome to myLOT!
There is nothing wrong with giving money to beggars BUT with proper way of giving it.
When I see beggars in the street I didn't give money or food. Why? because they will be so dependent on it and make a living out of it and stay in the street begging for more.
I made a donation to beggars on foundation sometimes they shelter them and pick them up from the street and that's we should do in able to eliminate beggars on the street.
This people should be prioritize by our government they should allocate more jobs to minimize beggars on the street.

Ok i can tell u, u r doing good but the other way at the same u are also spoiling them. The poor who r getting money by the people like u think that if they just go for begging they r getting so much money so they do not need to work and some beggers take their children with them to beg, by which the child with them learn how to take other help and will not work for himlike this the begger's generations will go on and there will be poor people all the time. if u stop giving to the begger and then the child will realise and then atleast he will start working.

you are sorry to say probably scared of these homeless people.ia an ignorant unawareness in us all that terrifies us. those beggars have no other choice. blame the governments for not properly helping tyese people.mission houses and soup kitchens are all temporary fixes to an ongoing and sad epidemic of this country.

the government are doing things to help these poor people out. it's just that these beggars are too lazy to work. i'm referring to those who can still work. you know, if the person wants to live his life in a comfortable way, he'll do anything. right? but these people have become too dependent, they refuse to work for their own.

Maybe they do actually need help, especially for the people they are forced to show off like a circus? It's sad.If they need it,I hope lots of people give to them, it's only money. If they don't then it's a shame people still feel the need to act that way.

in my opinion it´s dipensible to think about educate or modify beggars or other people which lives on the streets. mostly i´ve got some cents in my trousers pocket and if somebody ask me on street i will give that cents from my pocket, but i wouldn´t take my wallet out of my pockets to show anybody how much i got with me.

I know that most of us think that we should not give money to beggars, but we are humans after all.. sometimes I just see people are disabled and helpless.. small children are having physical disabilities and they are without proper clothes in the coldest days when we are completely covered with jackets and sweaters and what not and then also we are feeling cold... I see small childen so thin and weak... and children are not supposed to work... it is not their mi8stake.. it is their parents.. but what can a poor child do, but only what his parents tell him to do.. if they are kidnapped children that are forcibly made to beg.. then they are even beaten up or not given food for not getting money.. DO you think in such situations we can resist our urges to help... I'M sorry but I CAN NOT...

for me giving alms to beggars is ok. If you have a lot of money instead of buying for a leisure things why dont we put it up in more valuable things. All of us have responsibility in God and i think it is their problem if god get angry on thier laziness. The important thing is you did your part as a good individual. God teaches us to give and take care ourself.
Because God is love if love God we must love our people!

In my opinion, justification for beggars is not necessary specially if you can see that the beggar is really incapable of earning a living. I used to give money and even food to beggars. Its up to you if you really wanted to give or not.

It is really a pity to see these people on the streets. If you see children begging you'll ask yourself, where are their parents? If you'll see old people begging, you'll ask yourself, where are their children? Helping them is not our obligation, but who will help them? I believe that if these people are educated, they will not be on the streets begging. These people are doing that because that's the only means that they know can help them earn money. If one of these people approach you and ask for a job, would you give him one or would you even offer him a job? Maybe you will say that there are lots of things that they can do to earn a living, but have it cross your mind that even college graduates finds it hard to look for a job. You, yourself, would you trust one of these people to work inside your house, to do the laudry or cleaning? We don't have the right to judge them, because they themselves are victims, they too don't want whatever they are experiencing now. In some aspect as well, some of these people act like they are more educated than those people who are really educated. For those who are not extending help to these people, don't judge them, don't curse them, don't say bad things against them because you are not helping them and whatever they have didn't come from you and if in case you have helped these people, don't expect that they will remember you, somebody out there knows the goodness of your heart. The best thing that we can do is to help them. In what way? If you don't have the financial means, a prayer will do. Pray for these people that they will be blessed. These people may not have financial capability that we have but GOD loves them. There are reasons why they are living that way.

U r right but partly...! In Mumbai it's an business with turnover in crore. But it don't seem every begger is part of that. Some old age people..who will give work to them..they have to beg...what an option? But, we should not support children, young people begging.

if you see beggars along the streets you will see who among them who needs money, i do give money but i want to give them food instead of money but if i dont have food to offer them i do give them money.. i dont know why specially those old beggars my heart melts if i saw those people, different people you can see as you walk the streets, there were babies carried by their moms.. theres one thing i really dont like those beggars that comes from provinces and man who chooses to beg than work for the family..

giving arms to begger is our duty in our religion according to our financial status but in the present days in our country, many peoples are coming as beggers when they r not really... i hate this and for this reason i have limited giving arms to beggers...i do agree that it will make them lazy but there are some people (disabled) who cannot work they need our help
