I would think does and does could be typo. I also think you need to remember that English is not the first language of many people on this board and until you are the "most perfect speller" in their languages you should just be impressed at how good the level of spelling is.

I think that most people here accept that english is not easy for those who do not speak it as a native tongue, and we are impressed with their ability irrespective of spelling errors. The topic here appears to be referring to native english speakers who still make spelling errors and basic grammatical mistakes.

Actually, its internet. People have to write a lot of things but there is shortage of time here. We have to talk with more than 3 ppl at a time and secondly there r many people in this world whom english is n't mother tongue. Its very difficult to become expert on a foreign language. Its too an other reason. I try my best to write correct spellings but may b still do mistakes.

From what I've seen during the short time I've been here, the foreign language part of the equation seems to be very important. English is one of the hardest languages to learn to speak and is even harder to learn how to write and spell. There are many rules that just do not make sense unless you grew up speaking the language.
Easy words should be spelled correctly, but when your typing stinks, sometimes it doesn't matter.

Some of it is just simple error. You often find that many people were not taught to type, so when they go fast they just get muddled and the keys get in the wrong order. I find I do it a lot with 'the' I'm always noticing I've managed to type it as 'teh' and its just a keyboard error. Other times, its a fact that not everyone has had a full and decent education, and they havent had the chance to develop reliable spelling.

I think they are still confused on the difference of the spelling and pronounciaition of a word. I suggest that people should consult the dictionary everytime they have trouble understanding and spelling words.

Yes, you are correct. Many people think that by referring to the dictionary, they will be embarrassed as it is for kids. This is not the case. Its for everybody and if it helps in correcting your spelling and even pronunciation, its great.

Well I'm an open minded person and understand that people here have different language. No problem if your are from US,your're expected to pronounced and speel the words correctly but few people here like me who grew up here in Phil,we have different langauge here so sometimes we mispelled the words. There are also cases that we're so careless in typing and we mistyped some words. So for me its not really annoying.Just a human error that sometimes we cannot avoid cause we're not perfect.

It does happen to me as well .
Though I am very good at spellings but when typing them I
sometimes press the keys in wrong order resulting in a typing mistake .
I suppose I may pay a price for them someday but till date
I have been lucky .
Spelling mistakes can make life difficult for the reader ,
but at the end of the day I would live with them rather than analysing spending time reading what i have written carefully .
So spelling mistakes you are welcome if you come outside my conscious awareness .

I think it depends. Some people have learning disabilities and spelling does not come so easy for them. For me, spelling isn't really an easy thing. But by using an electronic dictionary a lot, I have gotten better.
Some days though, I sit and look at a word like "just" and it doesn't look right. I have wondered before if it was "yust" or "joost" or "yost" etc. and somedays I just can't get a certain word it seems.
But then there are the words that I know and so I get frustrated when others do not know them. Like paint "pilling" instead of "peeling" or "wierd" instead of "weird" or even "definately" instead of "definitely" (one I was guilty of for years).

Some people know how to spell but they make a spelling mistake when typing. Personally i have ever made a an error when typing, not that i don't know how to spell the word, but a common spelling mistake. For those who can't spell such a word, let them pull their socks. Not that am too sharp when it comes to spelling. Nobody is perfect.

One problem is that when a person is having a dyslexia. It is a brain problem that you are doubt with the placements and which letters of the word are doubled or not.

It seems that its just accidently hitting the wrong key not from not knowing how to spell.I've done that and they don't have an edit button once you preview it so for some it's probably a mistake and the e and s key are close together.

I am sorry that parsons dose annoy you when their spelling is bad. Hope I just add to it. I think the reason for that error is bacause they arent as fortunate as you to type without watching the keys. Also when someone is typing fast this minor error occurs. Not everyone is perfect. But you did know that 'dose' is 'does' right. MyLot is not a grammer test so if you understand what he says then great why raise your blood pressure for nothing??
PS: Please excues my speling

There are a great many spelling mistakes at Mylot. However, they are not all generated by an inability to spell, but some are a result of people not bothering to proof read what they have typed.
I often find that I have typed ahve or something similar, although I am capable of spelling the word have.
