I was just watching the news and you won't believe what they said. The state of Illinoise is trying to get a law passed for Fruit flavored alcoholic drinks. They say that the drinks are more appealing to teenagers. What's next? Banning all alcohol? California is trying to ban spanking. They are trying to ban smoking in you own vehicle if there is anyone under the age of eighteen. In most St. Louis bars and restaraunts they have banned smoking.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO A FREE UNITED STATES!?!?!?
What are they going to try to ban next? Will the government ever stop trying to take complete control of us? Aren't we fighting in other countries because of dictatorships like this?

I agree 100%. It seems like the governement has really been trying to take over more of our lives lately. It is ridiculous. Of course many of the laws that pass are voted on by the people so the voters are helping the government. this last election a law was passed by the voters of my state to ban smoking in all public places. It used to be that you could smoke in bars and if restuarants had a separate smoking area wiht it's own ventilation then you could smoke in there.
I understand that most everyone is just worried about the children which is why most of these laws are introduced, but come on we still should be free. It is getting rather frustrating and it makes you wonder what kind of government we will be leaving our children with.
