why do they call it pop music?

Well its called POP muzic coz .... As the world was enjoying other muzics and one day someone came up with this idea which POP IN HIS MIND to sing songs about love and dance in a formation.... And it became a hit but when some one asked which type of muzic it is it just POPed in his head That its POP MUZIC
