Ok, what do you think of hoodia? I have been thinking about taking it because it sounds pretty safe, but I don't know anyone who has taken it personnly. I have some medical conditions like panic attacks, colitis, thyroiditis, Lyme, etc. the list could go on and on but I will stop. Well the short version is that I gained 55 pounds while on Lexapro (yr on and just stopped before christmas) and I am desperate to get the weigh off. I am not hungry right now, I never am, but I still do not loose the weight. I work out as much as I can. Any suggestions? If you were on a medication like I was and then got off, how long did it take for you to loose the weight?

Since hoodia comes from a protected plant I would not be suggesting it for you. I would more likely tell you to eat more like the garden. Reduce the pop, and bread, and be sure to eat three meals and a couple of small snacks a day. The snacks would be an apple, orange or banana. Portion control is also a good way to reduce. We all eat too much in a sitting anyway. Slowly with consistent movement, like walking, swimming at the rec center or hiking at the local park would help you to naturally reshape you body. Muscle weighs more so they shape is more correct that weight. Good luck my friend!

My gf does, she says her appetite is gone. Hoodia is an excellent appetite suppressant. When you introduce that with a good exercise and diet plan, you can definitely enhance the weight loss. It's important to remember that there isn't a magical pill that melts the extra pounds off.It has been used for hundreds of years by certain tribal groups, so it is safe indeed. There is no record of any of these tribes having problems .

I have never heard of Hoodia, I suufer from panic attacks/anxiety attacks, and I don't really want to go on more medication as the 2 I am on for high blood pressure is enough, I might have to watch here and see if anyone is on this hoodia.

The crazy irony about appetite suppresants is that they
eventually force your body to store fat, because the body
'thinks' it's never gonna get any more food. So in the beginning they work, but soon, viola! the weight is back. I know, I lost some at the top of the craze. Also, with your
other ailments, a regular diet needs to be a part of your daily life. I know the desperation so if you must take it, make sure it's 100% pure South African Hoodia G products. If you want, you can message me and I'll share what I finally got to work.

Sorry, but I never taken Hoodia before and I do not know exactly how it works. I loose weight the old fashion way, eating healthy and exercising.

I was as fat as a bloated bear before my 20th birthday last November but now I have amazingly lost 23lbs in the most dramatic therapy I have ever had. It's all natural, so it's safe.

I have also heard a lot about the hoodia and have considered it myself. I had lost 35 pounds last year before a medication change caused me to regain almost all of it. Since you and I have many of the same medical problems, I will be watching this discussion and hope to find information that will help us both.

I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and I have taken Hoodia. It usually gives me a pretty back stomach. Not sure what is in it, but it definitely doesn't work for me. Sounds like you also have some sensitivity going, so not sure if it will work for you.

I would be really hesitant to use any weight loss medication, even if it was over the counter, and even if it appeared to be 'safe'. My aunt was taking phenphen when they thought it was 'safe' and she now has damage to her heart that she is stuck with for the rest of her life. I don't think it is worth the risk.
