for any of you parents i know that most parents woud like for there children to get straight a's in school but how many of us actually do? if your child got straight a's all year long howould you reward them if it was a natural thing for them? or what if you had a c avergae student and they received straight a's on a report card how would you react to that? would you expect it all the time knowing theycoud do it or would you just be pleased knowing that they hve done it.

I don't really care about the grades. I just want my daughter to try her best. We have talked about this and we agree that she is to just do her best at that particualr moment. We realize that sometimes your best one day is not the same as the next day. She knows when she did her best and she is proud of that and so am I.
I do reward her when she gets perfects on things but my reward is usually an I Love You, I am proud of you and a hug. I want her to do things because she is trying her best and not because she gets rewards for it.
My daughter is very smart and she knows when she didn't give it her all and she will tell me so.
