Has anyone heard about netflix starting a new way to get movies? I've heard a rumor about netflix saying that they were going to make it so that you could download a movie on your computer to watch. Anyone else hear anything like this?

Yea there are a few websites doing that legally now. The catch is that some make it to where they can only be played in software they give you. Some have them set to not be playable after 30 days. I'm saying they are making it to where you can't burn them, keep them and stuff like that. I guess it is the same as renting a movie.

I have not heard that about netfix just yet. I think that would be alot better than sending and receiving DVD's.

I subscribe to a service called Vongo that lets you do just that legally for a monthly fee. Their title selection isn't that great right now, but other than that it's a good service especially if you are going to be travelling then you can have a couple fo movies loaded onto your laptop.

I'm not sure whether your country is strict with copyright rules, but there are sites that allows you to download the movies for free. Or if you prefer to watch movies online for free. I've got a blog that provides the link, it is quite new.. but I'm able to provide you the links, just pm me.. =)
