To be honest I feel like this book changed my life. I read this like 3 times during 2010, and till this day I've always been thinking about this book.1984 has to be di best book in history. I give my thanks to George Orwell to inspire me to keep reading books and showing how his imagintion can take u to a different end of life.

I also really llke this book. Orwell has such a vast imagination and it never ceases to amaze me how he built such a society that in a weird way works.

Read any critical analysis of the book (Bloom is one of my favourites) and it'll blow you away how good it actually is. Seriously, do it.

I can't argue with that. Some of the ideas he brings up in the book have really stuck with me since the first time I read the book as a child. Many times I hear something on the news and remember them saying the opposite a few months earlier and I think of 1984 - it has made me more aware of the truth behind what people say.
