recently i got the same mail that you have won an lottery. but the basic thing is that how can any one win a lottery without buying a lottery ticket. so all these are scams and should not be invited for further action.

That is a scam. No one would give such amount like millions by just email. It sucks because when you give your credit card. It will be charge with many expenses dont try it.

I've received a notification of something like that too, british lottery something and I went through the motions and concluded its a scam, because they instructed me to send money purportedly to pay for insurance of the money I won. I thought why won't they just get it from the prize money? They said something about fixed insurance (was that the term?) and that the whole amount must be intact. Sounds fishy to me. Anyway if you really want to find out for yourself go head just don't send them any money or tell them about your financial information.

Definitely so, I received that before. I receive that I won plenty and when you reply to it they would start demanding for some money that they claim would used to send the money to you. I told them that just deduct the amount from my prize winning they would make lots of excuses by telling me that they cannot do that since its against their policies etc etc. I sugesst that either you ignore them or play with them LOL. They would just stopped emailing you when they realized they could not get anything from you anymore.

Don't even think of replying to such emails because they are pure scam and whenever you get such emails just hit the spam button in the inbox and add that id in the blocked list.
