Avatars

I actually use a photo of myself also. I feel the same way that I would like people to see me for who I am. But I have been considering changing my avatar to a different picture of me. The only problem is...I am always the one behind the camera. So, until someone can take a picture of me and I like it, I guess I will have to stick with this one. Funny thing is, I never really liked this picture all that much either. This is a picture of me at West palm Beach in Florida that my sister took of me. I had been taking pictures of her and her girl friend...since I don't really get in the water. But my sister talked me into being in front of the camera for a couple of shots. Which, I am actually glad that she did now. Because like I said, I am not in very many pictures.

I guess I am not brave enough to use an actual photo, I guess it would be nice to see what people actually looked like but I am not sure I ever would.

I want to show my entire collection of photos, so I randomly select one for some time and changes it with another one. Its all hot and rare interesting subjects.

I use a picture of my cat because it shows that I am a cat lover and she is just sooooo darn cute. I don't really like to use a real pic of myself because I think that many people make assumptions based on your looks and I would rather have people learn about me from my words.

Because I am an affiliate of a few anime companies, I like using Japanese anime characters as my avatar.

I wanted something different. So it was sorta random. I feel it gets attention. . my friend

I use an image that I created for one of my sites. It's to help represent myself, what I believe in, what I like, things like that. Is it accurate to what I look like not really just what I am like inside.

I chose my avatar by my profession. As far back as I have memory, I wanted to be a nurse. When I was 4-5 years old, I would take the arms of my dolls and cut holes in my stuffed animals so that I could 'nurse' them to health with my homemmade bandages! When I saw this picture of the bandaged bear, it took me back to those days as a 'young nurse.' I am actually an 'old nurse' now. Very, very old according to my children!

when im making avatars i always try to make something that stands out. i dont use pictures of myself becuz it doesnt really stand out, just a dark dull picture, i never liked being ordinary, i always look for something that stands out.
