Moomin is mad, totally mad. This is the cat who regularly attempts to sleep on the top of the curtains. This is the cat who drinks from the basin in the bathroom while ignoring her own drinking bowl on the floor. This is the cat who has spent the last ten minutes racing around the living room chasing her own tail, and this is the cat who is scared of her own shadow. Yes, my cat is a psycho. Is you cat as mad?

Yes my cat is crazy too. He follows me around all day. I was vacuuming and where ever I went he was on top of the table, counter. If I go outside he sits by the door or on the table looking out the window at me. Runs around and plays peek a boo, that is his favorite game. I have posted this before, but last month ran through my painting tray. Then again last week running around ran on top of the dresser I was painting. He is a boy. Now my other two are girls and they are not as crazy.

Oh no, footprints in the paint. LOL
I'm not which is worse though. Males or females. Moomin is back in the bathroom tonight, so I expect more shed hair in the morning.
Thanks for your comments hun

hahahhaha ^_^ i am so into laughing now.... goodness gracious!@!! what a cat... i find t so funny and so ridicullous... your cat can be a circus pet.. hehehh..
anyways, how old is you cat?
i heard form my vet that at early ages of a cats life like one year below, is so fond of exploring things and violating the norms...
however, if they may be so playful by nature, they may do things that we seem never to understand, infact as they grow old, they will get tired of such happy and very frantic moves like they are doing while they are young...
most cats do behave that way, even dogs chase their tails around and round again and again, or drink at the toilet or bathroom instead of their own bowl..
well, i can say we have to discipline them, say no, or prevent your cat from getting access to the bathroom, make the cat have fun to his toys so he will be misdirected from his tail and prevent the cat from having the image of his shadow as he venture walking everywhere...
dont worry, eventually, as your cat goes into maturity, it will be so normal again, it will get tired to all of the craziness or psycho ways hes been into...
but i cant stop laughing, ^_^ im imagining this cat right now at the back of my mind,, hahah,,
anyways, take care and good luck ^_^
mmeeoowwww.....^_^ hihihihi....

Moomin is two years old now, and still very much a kitten in her behaviour. I found her hiding in the bathroom this morning, and I wondered why she was actually hiding, until I realised that she had been sleeping in the basin and it was full of shed hairs. She bolted before I could get my camera but I plan to keep the camera close at hand for the next time.
Thanks for your response hun

Moomin won't eat ordinary cat food, only tuna or chicken. If I tried feeding her banana she would run away and sulk

Does she sniff it and ask you how you can put that in your mouth? That is what my cats do, or at least that is what I think they are saying.

My cats eat spiders too.
Around my house, we call it "kitty terrors" when the cats start to act weird, running around like maniacs. I love them, but there are times I wonder what they are thinking.

My cat is named Maya, but we call her Moo because she is such a piggy. She wants a bite of everything. I have recently discovered that she likes string cheese.
I get home from work after midnight and she just starts running around and pouncing on fuzzballs and her paper balls. She will hide by the edge of the chair and pop out and whack my leg as I go past. When I sit down, she will come sit on my lap and give me kitty kisses on the nose and snuggle under my chin. She also likes to watch through the blinds and wait for me to get home.

I think your cat is related to my cats :) They do that as well. Along with jumping up like they were shocked when nothing is around. They will also chase each other around and then just stop mid way through and look at each other like "What were we doing?". They also love to get lovings from us while we sit on the toilet, heaven forbid we use the bathroom without them. I think the definition cor psycho is cat at times.

Both of our current cats have decided to move next door with the dog that already lived there. One is the mother of the other one. We still get teh young one coming in occasionally to eat (not that he doesn't eat enough next door - he eats the dogs food aswell as what they feed him, plus what we put down). His mum on the other hand we only see walking through our garden, or wtching us through our windows, dispite our best efforts to tempt her back in.

Right now Moomin is sitting on the desk, facinated by the typing on the screen. She's mesmerised by the movement and I just know any moment now she will *attack* the screen

Hi recycledgoth, I've had quite a few cats who are totally insane, the two I have at the moment both drink from the basin in the bathroom (I think they prefer the fresh water) One of my old cats used to sleep in the sink! My little kitten thinks he's a dog - I throw his little toy mouse for him and he runs and fetches it and brings it back! He also likes to dip is paw into a cold cup of tea and licks the tea off it! I think cats are brill and all have their own personalities!

LOL cats are wonderful creatures, so independant and aloof, yet they keep us amused and, in some cases, sane.
Thank you for your comment hun, your cats sound great.

she has this..i don't know if it's a eyesight problem or what, but she freaks out over anything black on the floor.she acts like it's a hole.
she'll start two-foot bouncing around it like a polar bear trying to break ice..it's the funniest damn thing to watch LOL
