Do you speak a second, third, fourth language? Do you think people should know more than one language to succeed? I personally speak English and French. I think having knowledge in a second language is very beneficial to move up in the work field.

i speak english urdu chinese and arabic except my mother tongue which is punjabi

people should learn atleast english (being a international language), 1 regional langauge and 1 local language... since India is a multi-lingual country. Many poeple here know atleast 3 languages

I think you are right!My mother tongue is Chinese,and I use English,Japanese.I know a little French and Spanish.When I learn those languages I almost learn that country's culture.These experiences gave me opportunities to know other countries cultures and people.

I took 3 years of spanish and I still can't speak it but I totally respect those who can do it.
