I like shopping. Buying clothes, food, accessories that i really wanted in life. I worked hard to buy all those.. but do you think this is a good investment? I dont want to save money on the bank? my parents keep telling me its good to save money at the young age. do you agree? but i worked hard to buy all i wanted isnt it fair? that they are the one responsible to save money for me? i am the only child.. so i expect they provide money for my future... pls i need advice... thanks

Sweetie, I don't know how old you are, but hope that you are still very young. Lesson number one in real life: You cannot depend on anyone for money but yourself. The fact that you consider your parents to be responsible for your financial future, spells doom. Start reading books like The Automatic Millionaire, written by David Bach, for some good financial advice.

I think it's good to set aside a little money, even if it's a few dollars at a time. Put it into an account that earns interest and you're basically making a little free money. Of course you should treat yourself, too, but in a few years you'll probably wonder what you spent all your money on because the food is gone and you probably won't be wearing the same clothes.
