Do you feel the same for mylot???

I am starting to feel that way also. I have enjoyed posting hear and have learned a lot of different things, but it seems as if lately the discussions are either senseless or they are flame wars. There isn't much in between. And then you get into people using the rating and reporting system to sabotage other users... It's like being in Kindergarten all over again. We should rename this forum "Romper Room". Maybe I'll feel differently tomorrow.

Yes sometime I have the same feelings as you have but this happens when my internet speed is down or else I enjoy mylot alot because I have many friends here and I love to answer their queries.

I do feel the same way like that. Sometimes, I just wonder if this is even worth it. But, I always find myself back here. I do less and less posts nowadays. Yeah, the thrill is just gone.

well just the other day i almost thought of quiting it i had posted 50-60 response and lol i received 29 cents for it and i thought what the hell wasted the whole day here and all i receive is 29 cents? but again i thought about the earnings i had in my kitty and thought to continue till i receive my first payout and thing about it so here i am posting again and hoping to reach payout by 30 th but for that i need help from my friends in my lot AND hope there are there for me when i need it

Count me in pix_trix. At the end of the day I reflect on what I have accomplished and I feel that I have totally wasted my energy sitting in front of my computer from morning till night. I realize that this is not a worthwhile hobby at all. But then I would justify myself and say, "this is so much better than just chatting or playing internet games." I used to be an internet game addict. I played 6-10 hours a day on my free days and what did I get? Muscle pain, hunger, thirst, strained eyes. Then I reckon it again, if I had known mylot when it first started I would have been a few hundred dollars richer by now. However, if you only depend on mylot for a living you'll not gonna survive. This is only one of my pasttimes. I have other jobs where I get paid more. Also if you choose carefully the topics you will learn many things. So now I don't feel my time is being wasted. I'm here to ask and get answers and to learn about other people and their great ideas.

sometimes, i do feel the same. i just think that it's not that much fun anymore, that's why i post when i feel like posting, response when there are good things that i want to say with the topics but i don't invest that much time anymore, the money would only be a bonus that i get, in these ways, i don't feel that i am so much wasting my time with a not so important deals.

There isnt a day that goes by when someone has this type of discussion. If you want to succeed in mylot you have just learn to deal with things. In other words suck it up. Think about nobody wants to hear this type of discussion over and over again.

Yeah that's true. That's what actually I was thinking for tomorrow if i would rather learn tutorials on adobe photoshop or spend my 2 hours here in mylot which only earns me cents. I just feel not worth it. But I am getting addicted with mylot, I just can't put off my hands on the keyboard answering discussions when I am in mylot already.

Ya like sometimes when i keep on posting so many responses and when i ppost my discussions and they get just no response it really irritates me. For most of the time i really need help on the topics and what i get is just ignorance so it really turns me off. Moreover sometimes responding to so many discussions one gets bored cause the type of discussion onewants to read and participate in are not always to popular or seen.....

lately even i have started feeling the same!mylot has turned out to be a guilty pleasure....you regret coming here as well as enjoy staying here!at times one gets really pissed off ....what the hell i did..i killed two hours of mine and what for...for taking the pain to solve other's queries (even knowing that they may be cooked up stories)and most of the people dont even bother to look at your posts.some of the discussions i find worth answering ..like i liked your discussion wherein i could pour out my frustation and also satisfy myself that im not the only one. though i like mylot more for its open discussions wherein i can voice my opinions and also enjoy them along with the idea of earning few points! i would give you a sane advice ,dont sit here continously for 2 hours ..rather come here at small intervals of time,like come here for 15 mins and post 2-3 discussions and then after an hour or so again come for 15 mins and so on....!believe me you wont regret that you wasted a lot of your time here.hope you benefit from it!good lucks mate!and thanks for a good discussion.u deserve a +!

yeah i figure it out also. Its a waste of time posting and keeping seated all the time in front of my computer and then all you could get is not an equivalent amount compare to your hours of work outside. Yeah we just seat here without any hardwork just on posting. But for me, i dont do mylot often. Its because i still have very important things to do than posting. Thats why i do mylot whenever i am free only and got nothing to do at all.

I think mylot is just ok compared to other discussion room coz u u are being paid..hhehehe..but still let us see if i will feel the same u do coz i am just new in here...

well i hav not thought in this angle even once, that i am wasting my time . but for me mylot seems to give some earnings . and of course i do not want up to which level i will be doing this

Sometimes it does feel like I'm wasting my time on MyLot. It is completely impossible to earn as much on MyLot per day as you earn at a real job, even if it is just flipping burgers. It really just comes down to whether you'd prefer to go out and get a job making more, or just earning a little bit of extra cash here and there for making conversation with others.

I love my lot!! Of course, I've only been here a week, but I find it very liberating and stress reducing to discuss topics here. I myself don't have the opportunity to spend 2 straight hours here, but I do spend moments whenever I can. If I could spend 2 hours straight on my lot, I might feel the same way too. I rarely get 2 hours straight to do anything, unless I'm at work...lol Maybe take a break from my lot and come back in the near future. Just a thought :-)
