I believe that boys and girls are for the most part equal. I do have only boys, but they know how to do laundry, fold it and put it away. They have to wash dishes and empty the diswasher. The do alot of household chores. My parents raised my brother and I to do chores interchangeably. We both mowed the lawn and did the dishes. There were no boy chores and girl chores.

We have two daughters and both are very dear to us. Rather we are not interested in taking another chance for a boy. I do agree that we have family pressure for the same.

I treat my children the same, it doesnt matter who is what. Now my daughter is my only daughter and i have 4 sons, so I tend to spoil her a bit more. But not because she is A girl but because she is the ONLY girl.
