love to me is when you would do anything for them. When you can't picture your life without them. when you would protect them from hurt, sadness, fear... When you will do whatever it takes to make them a good person and happy... When you stick by them through good and bad.

Thanks for the response, yeah i agree everyone has their own meaning and i hope a lot of people respond so i can compare and see the similarities and differences. I suppose you need to consider different types of love as well for example the love you have for your friends and children is a bit different from the love you have for your partner.

Love is being able to feel close enough to someone to be able to share even your darkest secrets and knowing that you will be understood. It's about feeling a close connection to someone who makes you complete. It's finding someone who brings out the best in you. Love is finding someone who sometimes undestands you more than you even understand yourself. It's finding that person who doesn't laugh when you cry at silly things, and can understand what you mean from the look in your eye.

For me, there are so many definition of love. It depend to whom you want to love. The most important thing for making love to trust each other.
